Nimbus Electric is a licensed electrical contractor serving Gastonia, Charlotte, and the surrounding communities with over 20 years of hands-on experience. We built this company around the values our neighbors deserve: safe work, clear communication, and fair pricing from a team that actually shows up.
Nimbus Electric started with a simple goal: bring honest, dependable electrical services to homeowners and small business owners across Gastonia and the greater Charlotte area. Owner David Humes saw too many people stuck with unanswered calls, surprise pricing, and unsafe wiring, which no one wanted to fix the right way.
We do things differently. Our licensed electricians answer the phone, explain the work, and treat every property like our own. From electrical panel upgrades and EV charger installation to smart home wiring, outdoor lighting, generator installation, and whole home surge protection, we deliver workmanship built to last.
With over 20 years in the trade, our team understands the everyday electrical issues local homes and businesses face. Melting panels, storm-damaged service lines, overloaded circuits from new HVAC systems, and damaging power surges are all problems we solve daily.
We pair that experience with modern know-how. Whether you need home automation wiring, a new breaker panel, security lighting installation, or workshop electrical wiring for a detached garage, we tailor every project to your space, your goals, and your budget.
We are a community-focused electrical company that puts safety and service ahead of upselling. Our licensed electricians handle residential and commercial electrical service calls with the same care, whether it is a simple repair or a full new electrical installation.
Every customer gets clear pricing, straight answers, and electrical work that meets code and exceeds expectations. We also offer a 10% discount for seniors and veterans on any service, because supporting our neighbors matters.
From emergency electrician calls to planned electrical upgrades, Nimbus Electric is here to help homeowners and businesses across Gastonia, Charlotte, Concord, Mooresville, and beyond. Reach out today and see what dependable electrical service really looks like.
